About Something Glassy Something Glassy is a one person (me) operation. I took stained glass classes while in Arabia, and when we came home, decided to set up a glass studio. I found that designing the wind chimes is one of my favorite projects.. Some of the items that I use like the Brazilian Agates and peach bevels were hard to find suppliers for. So,when I set up my web site, I decided that I would sell the materials that I use for my own projects. I take custom orders for glass work and will be happy to add requests for supplies to the inventory. I would also also like to use this page to share another passion with you, my Salukis. While living in Arabia, where my husband worked as an engineer in the oil refining industry, we fell in love with the Saluki breed. Salukis are sight hounds and are used by the Bedoiun for hunting . They are highly prized and are treated with respect. The fellow that you see under the work bench is Shuhoob ( streaking meteor in Arabic) He keeps me company while I work on my stained glass projects. We have 9 Saluki, but Asher is a little camera shy. I will be adding more to this page, so check back often. .jpg) Damar
